Ft Lauderdale Cosmetic Dentist Leads Pinterest with Smiles

Pinterest helps Ft Lauderdale cosmetic dentist reach and educate patients. Fort Lauderdale — With social media is all the rage, one of the newest and fastest growing social media sites is Pinterest.

Now the Ft Lauderdale cosmetic dentists at South Florida Cosmetic Dentistry have started a Pinterest page which describes their practice, gives information about cosmetic dentistry, and introduces site visitors to attractions and restaurants in South Florida. Pinterest was founded in 2009 by Ben Silberman; by December 2011, the site became one of the top 10 largest social network services with 11 million total visits per week.  Also in 2011, Time Magazine named Pinterest in its “50 Best Websites of 2011” article. By January 2012, the site had 11.7 million unique users, making it the fastest site in history to break through the 10 million unique visitor mark.

In March 2012, Pinterest became the third largest social network in the United States, behind Facebook and Twitter. The media sharing website permits users to create thematic collections of images, videos, and documents  about events, interests, hobbies, businesses, and more. Users browse through other users’ pinboards for inspiration, re-pin images to their own pinboards, or “like” photos on other boards. They can save and categorize images as well as follow other users’ boards if they have similar interests. Soon South Florida Cosmetic Dentistry will even have Pinterest integrated right into their website so visitors can share their favorite smile makeovers, pin their desired treatment procedures, and refer friends and family more easily than before.  The pinterest board is particularly helpful to cosmetic patients who are traveling in from out of the state or country and are looking to see what fun activities, restaurants, and hot spots are in the area. “Pinterest helps us paint a great picture (literally) of what Miami/South Florida is all about.
